It was another round of matches in the Premier League last weekend, and as usual, it did not fail to live up to expectation as teams served fans with brilliant performances.
Wolves and Leeds United kicked off the round at the Molineux while Brighton’s game against Crystal Palace at the Amex stadium ended the weekend’s action.

Mourinho in danger of another sack: The Special One is trying to rebuild is reputation at Tottenham, but it is not going so well for him and could even be sacked if things don’t turn around.
Spurs were beaten by West Ham on Sunday, while piled more pressure on Jose Mourinho. Mourinho’s men have now lost five of their last six league games, and are nine points off the fourth spot, although they have a game in hand.
Mourinho was brought in to instil winning his winning mentality on the players, but performances in the league since the turn of the year have not been encouraging.
Although Spurs are in the League Cup and also have one foot in the Europa League round of 16, failure to win any of those trophies or make the top four could see Mourinho fired again.
Liverpool’s Troubles Continue: It has been a disappointing title defence from Liverpool. Their form 2021 has been awful, and they face a battle to make the top four.
Jurgen Klopp’s men suffered a fourth consecutive loss in the league last weekend as Merseyside rivals, Everton, sealed their first win at Anfield since 1999 and their first victory in the tie since 2010.
The loss also means the Reds have now lost their four home games in the league, and are currently 19 points behind leaders, Manchester City.
Liverpool were favourites for the title before the league started, but they are now in danger of missing out on a top-four place as they sit five points behind West Ham in fourth.
Tuchel’s Honeymoon Period Is Over: Thomas Tuchel started well as Chelsea manager, winning five of his first six games. However, they dropped points on Saturday against Southampton at St. Marys.
The Blues had won their last five games in all competitions, but they were held to a 1-1 draw by the Saints. While it was not really a bad result, it took them out of the top four.
And with a tough run of fixtures that start with the champions league game against Atletico Madrid coming up, Tuchel’s honeymoon period is finally over.
Manchester City Continue Winning Form: Manchester City’s victory over Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday was their 18th-consecutive win across all competitions and 13th in the league.
City are currently unstoppable right now and are well on course to reclaim the title they lost to Liverpool last season. Pep’s men are ten points clear of their nearest challengers, Manchester United.
And with the team still challenging on all fronts this season, they could be the first English club to win a quadruple.
Leicester and Everton Maintain Top Four Challenge: Leicester City and Everton were tipped as the two teams that could challenge the big six this season, and so far they’ve not disappointed.
Leicester City agonisingly came close to finishing inside the top four last season but lost to Manchester United on the last day of the season.
However, that disappointment has spurred them on this season, and they are third on the table with the same number of points as Man Utd.
The Foxes were brilliant away from home last weekend, beating Aston Villa to go four points clear of fourth-placed West Ham. Everton are also in the mix for a top-four place, although they are currently outside the spots right now.
However, they secured a historic victory at the home of their rivals, Liverpool, on Saturday, and are only five points behind West Ham, who have played a game more.
While there are still about 13 games left, both Everton and Leicester City have shown that they have what it takes to go all the way and secure champions league football next season.
